Elsewedy Utilities is an operational arm of Elsewedy Electric working in utility distribution and integrated facility management. Its wider services include operation and maintenance of technical systems for large organizations. Archer Solutions' project addressed a focused part of that business: technical-maintenance requests, service projects, helpdesk activity and inventory across one company and multiple projects.
Archer implemented Odoo for Elsewedy Utilities’ technical-maintenance scope, connecting Helpdesk, Maintenance, Service Projects and Inventory. Excel-based coordination was replaced with structured records for service requests, the work undertaken and the materials involved. A request retains its service-project context as teams review the maintenance activity required in response. Inventory information sits within the same operating environment, making it possible to relate material records to technical work. For an operation serving multiple projects, the shared system needs to preserve the identity of each assignment and its supporting records. The delivered scope gives technical teams that common operational view, bringing request handling, maintenance activity and material information together for their day-to-day service work.
Between February and July 2024, Archer moved the technical-maintenance scope from Excel-based coordination into Odoo. Analysis and tailored configuration connected requests, service projects and materials. Starting-data preparation, company-policy access, workflow validation, training and go-live support helped operational teams use the delivered scope.
