About Raya Networks Services

Raya Networks Services is part of Raya Information Technology and provides technical infrastructure, site and maintenance services. Its work includes server-room and data-centre environments serving banking and telecom organizations. Archer Solutions' Odoo programme concerns the company's technical-maintenance and project operations across one company and multiple projects.

Business Challenges

  • Excel-based tracking did not provide one structured record for technical service requests and maintenance work across multiple projects.
  • Helpdesk activity needed to connect with the work undertaken by maintenance teams.
  • Inventory and purchasing needed to be related to project and service demand.
  • Technical work at critical client sites called for clear project, service and material records.

ERP Solution Delivered

Archer implemented Odoo for Raya Networks Services’ technical-maintenance and service-project operations, connecting Helpdesk, Maintenance, Inventory and Purchasing. The environment replaces Excel-based coordination with linked records for service requests, work and materials across multiple client projects. In server-room and technical-infrastructure environments, the operating context matters: teams need to distinguish the client site, the requested work and the materials involved. Service-project records provide that context, while purchasing and inventory hold the associated material information. The shared environment lets teams review connected records without losing the identity of an individual assignment. This brings service coordination and its supporting material activity into the same operational view for the teams delivering technical work across client sites.

Implementation Approach

The February–December 2025 implementation connected technical-service requests, maintenance and service projects with inventory and purchasing. Analysis shaped configuration and tailoring of the workflow. Starting data, company-policy access, validation, training and go-live support prepared teams to use the connected records in daily operations.

01 Analysed how requests, maintenance work, project records and material information were coordinated in Excel.
02 Configured and tailored Helpdesk, Maintenance and Service Projects, connecting Inventory and Purchasing with the relevant service work.
03 Adjusted user roles and access permissions to company policy and the responsibilities of the participating operational teams.
04 Prepared the approved service, supplier, warehouse and stock starting records required by the delivered operating scope.
05 Validated the links between requests, work, projects, stock and purchases before the transition to live use.
06 Trained participating users on service workflows, material records and the handoffs between operational and purchasing teams.
07 Completed implementation in December 2025 and provided go-live support as teams adopted the connected service environment.

Results and Business Impact

Technical service requests and maintenance work can be followed in the context of the relevant client project.
Purchasing and inventory records can be related to the materials needed for service work.
Teams can review connected work and material records across projects instead of relying on separate Excel-based coordination.
